TATTOOS!

yep i love them... i have a pretty good collection of my own... well... i am working with a friend of mine... he is a super talented artist... not just super talented with a tattoo gun but will many different mediums... i will be working with chad "willy" williams to help build his portfolio... i am offering a free 5x7 when you get tattooed by "willy" and then photographed by me... we are working to make his tattoo portfolio look different and stand out among his "competition"

anywho... i made this today for him... this is all his artwork... told you he is amazing...

the photographs will highlight his talents and show off your personality... think "miami ink" shoots but better... if you want to go take your photographs in an industrial setting... or a woodsy area... the sky is the limit (well maybe not the sky-but you get the idea) you will receive a free 5x7 and "willy" will receive the other half... he wins... i win... and most importantly you win...

we got snow...

so these pictures are from our snow in december... being that i am a cali girl this was really awesome to have out my front door... days like this make me glad i moved to oregon... i just wish the snow was a little more frequent... although most my friends would yell at me if they knew this... well to my happy surprise we had snow this morning... not lots but enough... not enough to go out and take pictures but it reminded me that i should show these off... enjoy...

girls will be girls...

as mom put it... shelby & lia are as opposite as sisters can be... but they are BOTH beautiful... mom sent me an email saying that her girls needed headshots but they really wanted a spunky photographer... well i am darn spunky so we had a blast...

again... living in oregon... it was off and on drizzle... the girls brought their new adorable puppy and their loving mom... i made them take a family portrait :) mom wasnt so prepared for it but doesnt she look great... the girls were so excited that i suggested the shot... i guess mom is like me CAMERA SHY! yes... i said it... i hate being in the front of the lens...

she said "YES!"

arent these two so cute... really though... they are just adorable together... you can see the love... kelli saw my valentine special and wanted to schedule right away... to her surprise brandon agreed right away...

we did these on a rainy day... it wasnt too bad... it actually proved to be really romantic... i just love where we shot and i love how the pictures came out...

oh did i mention that this couple is now happily engaged... he proposed just a few days later... if only he would have told me... that would have been fun to photograph... but we got some awesome shots and i am working on some custom designs for them...

poor brandon... the ground was sooo wet... it was fun and this shot makes it all worth it... we did shoot this on the way back to our cars so at least i didnt ask him to do this in the beginning of the shoot... i couldnt help but ask when i saw all the green ground cover begging for its picture taken...

i have a blog...

ok ok... i didnt think i would start a blog... but i can see the importance in it...

2009 has started off to be a great year for my new business... have met some fun people and have done some fun sessions... plus i have more scheduled...

i have always believed that customers should be friends and this blog will be the way to do that... i can post sneak peaks of new sessions... and i can talk freely with you all... i really like that the blog will let you take a look into my personality and see ME as me and not just a professional... truth me told... i am not the normal professional :)

anyway... i look forward to becoming a blogger... feel free to make it fun for me and comment pictures as i post them...
